Self-exclusion, time-outs and account closure
A time-out is a temporary pause; self-exclusion is generally a longer and more formal restriction, sometimes supported by a state-level regulator or operator process. Closing an account alone may not be the same as regulatory self-exclusion.
How to request an exclusion
- Locate the official operator support page or your state regulator’s self-exclusion program.
- Check the applicable duration, identity checks, scope across properties, and consequences for any balance or pending redemption.
- Submit a request directly through that official process; keep a copy of any confirmation.
- Ask about blocking promotional communications and additional support if the restriction does not cover every service.
We cannot submit, verify, lift or enforce a self-exclusion request for you.
State-wide versus operator-specific programs
Some US jurisdictions offer regulator-managed exclusion programs that cover specified licensed operators. Others rely more heavily on operator tools. Coverage, permanence, renewal and reinstatement requirements vary, so do not assume that excluding from one account automatically excludes you everywhere.
Help while waiting for confirmation
Consider deleting gambling apps, blocking websites, limiting access to funds and telling someone you trust. Contact independent counselling support rather than testing whether an exclusion has taken effect.
